DEWEESE, Neb. (KGFW) – A manhunt that began Tuesday ended when a Nuckolls County Deputy shot and wounded the suspect yesterday afternoon in Deweese.
Authorities say 44-year-old Wesley Blessing is accused of holding his ex-girlfriend against her will for four days then later shooting at a Clay County Deputy, launching the massive manhunt.
KSNB Local 4 News reports Blessing knocked on the door of a home Thursday asking for a drink. A resident called 911.
