KEARNEY, Neb. (KGFW) – Police responded to a Kearney apartment complex Friday afternoon to a report of a suicidal female pointing a gun at other people. The individual had barricaded themselves in a 2nd floor apartment. The situation at Emerson Place Apartments ended and the subject was taken into custody a little more than 2 hours later with the aid of less lethal chemical munitions.
