KEARNEY, Neb. (KGFW) – Felony sexual assault charges have been dismissed against two former UNK students charged in an on-campus assault.
The Kearney Hub reports 20-year-olds Prestin Melroy and Zachary Reikofski both pleaded no contest to misdemeanor third-degree assault charges in the Nov. 4, 2018 incident.
Melroy also pleaded no contest to the same charge in connection with a second woman that same day.
The Nebraska Attorney General’s office prosecuted the case.
