GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KGFW) – A 55-year-old Grand Island man was arrested about 2 o’clock this morning following a 5-hour standoff after the man’s wife reported that he had threatened and assaulted her.
KSNB Local 4 News reports the tactical response team and crisis negotiators were called to the scene on Cherry Street near the Cherry Park Apartments.
The man eventually surrendered and was arrested on numerous charges.
