KEARNEY, Neb. (KGFW) – City of Kearney officials learned Friday morning that the Directed Health Measure, calling for enforcement of numerous restrictions amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, has been extended for the Two Rivers Public Health Department Area until May 31.
“Neither [Kearney City Manager] Mike Morgan or I were informed about this,” Mayor Stan Clouse told KGFW. “We received a copy from Chief Waugh who requested an update from the state and they sent him this.”
The Two Rivers area includes Buffalo, Dawson, Franklin, Gosper, Harlan, Kearney and Phelps Counties.
