The Nebraska baseball team is now ranked by D1Baseball (#22), Baseball America (#24) and Perfect Game (#19). It is the first time this season the Huskers have been ranked by D1 Baseball or Baseball America, while Nebraska has continued to climb the Perfect Game rankings since entering that poll on April 12th.

The Nebraska baseball team won their seventh conference series of the season yesterday, topping Michigan State in East Lansing 9-6 in 12-innings. With the victory the Huskers improved to 20-7 on the season, and 14-6 away from Lincoln. They top the Big Ten standings and have a 1 ½ game lead over both Indiana and Michigan. The Huskers return to Hawks Field this weekend for a three-game series against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The series opener is scheduled for Friday night at 6:30.

Wisconsin took 3-of-4 from the Husker softball team this past weekend at Bowlin Stadium. The Huskers will host the Maryland Terps in a four game series this weekend.

The Nebraska football team will hold their 13th practice of the spring this morning. The Spring Game is this Saturday, kickoff will be at 1:00. Mobile tickets for the Spring Game are still available at Huskers.com/tickets.

The NFL Draft gets underway Thursday in Cleveland, Ohio. Several formers Huskers are hoping to hear their names called… they include Dicaprio Bootle, Matt Farniok, Jack Stoll, Dedrick Mills and Brenden Jaimes.

Rogers State swept a double header from the UNK Softball team, 17-1 and 10-1, Saturday afternoon at Dryden Park. These were UNK’s final home games of the 2021 season. The Lopers close the regular season this weekend with games at No. 16 Central Oklahoma and Newman.

The Tri-City Storm closed the regular season with a 4-0 loss at Omaha Saturday night. The Storm will host the Fargo Force Friday in the opening game of the Western Conference Semifinal round of the Clark Cup Playoffs. The puck will drop at 7:05.
