The Nebraska football team held their 14th, and final practice before this Saturday’s Red/White Spring Game. Head coach Scott Frost met the media after the workout. – As to the physical nature of the practices this spring, Frost said, “at the most, Nebraska had 43 players on the injury report with various bumps and bruises.”
– Running backs coach Ryan Held confirmed that third-year running back, Rahmir Johnson, will not play in Saturday’s scrimmage after missing all spring with “something.”
– Nebraska is not offically “hosting” any recruits Saturday, though many are expected to attend the spring game. Nebraska’s coaches are not able to have any contact with them, including something as simple as a wave.
