The Nebraska volleyball team landed a pair of 2023 commitments yesterday. The first is 6-foot-1 setter Bergen Reilly. Named the South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year, Reilly is the 14th best prospect in the nation according to Prepvolleyball.com. The Huskers also received a verbal commitment yesterday from 6-foot-1 outside hitter/middle blocker Andi Jackson from Brighton, Colorado.
Joel Schipper has been named the new Head Baseball Coach at Hastings College. Schipper comes from Davenport University where he served as an assistant coach for the Panther program which was one game away from making the NCAA Division II World Series this past season. Schipper’s official first day will be Aug. 6th. He takes over for Steve Spongberg, who stepped down at the end of last season.
