MEMORIAL STADIUM SELLOUT STREAK TO CONTINUE
Nebraska football’s Memorial Stadium sellout streak will make it past its 375 consecutive game mark.
Two anonymous boosters purchased thousands of tickets for economically underserved children across the state through a program called the “Red Carpet Experience,” which was developed by NU in the last month
The program will allow children in the eighth grade or younger, along with parents or guardians, to attend the Husker game against Fordham and get a free lunch as well.
Athletic Director Trev Alberts adds that the sellout streak has continued due to donors purchasing tickets every year – but this program means that those tickets will be put to use to have fans in the stands.
