No decision has been made on Scott Frost’s future as coach, University President Ted Carter said Wednesday.
But Carter added the “direction of the program” would be addressed in the coming weeks.
Asked if a decision on Frost would be up to Athletic Director Trev Alberts, Carter said, “We hired Trev as the athletic director. He’s a critical part of it. Ronnie (Green, chancellor) is in there. I’m in there. We’ll be part of it at the end of the day. Nothing gets done without some level of consensus.”
LOPER VOLLEYBALL ANGLING FOR 22nd STRAIGHT TOURNAMENT

After dispatching rival Fort Hays State on Tuesday, the Lopers (20-5), winners of eighth straight, are one of four MIAA teams in the top 10. The others are Central Missouri (1st), Northwest Missouri State (3rd) and Washburn (4th). UNK hosts UCM Saturday at 3 p.m. in the regular season home finale.
