Monday Sports Update KHCS Volleyball C-1 Runners Up-KCHS Football marches on-Huskers fall to Ohio State

HUSKER LOSE TO ANOTHER TOP 10 TEAM IN OHIO STATE

Nebraska had opportunities but could not convert and fell to Top 5 Ohio State at Memorial Stadium on Saturday 26-17. Nebraska are now 3 and 7 on the year. This weekend is a bye week followed by the Huskers travelling to Wisconsin on November 20th. Game time TBA

KEARNEY CATHOLIC VOLLEYBALL ARE CLASS C-1 RUNNER UP

Kearney Catholic Volleyball fell behind loosing the first two sets only to rally and win set 3. Lincoln Lutheran proved too strong and won the 4th set to claim the Class C-1 Title 25-23; 25-23; 17-25 and 26-24.

KEARNEY CATHOLIC FOOTBALL CONTINUES ON IN CLASS C-1 FINALS

Kearney Catholic Football got out to a fast start leading Wahoo 20-0 at the half to roll to a convincing 33-7 win to move to the semi-finals next Friday. KCHS will take on Columbus Lakeview in the semi-final round.

UNK FOOTBALL BOUNCES BACK WITH WIN OVER CENTRAL OKLAHOMA

A week after losing to NW Missouri State the UNK Loper football team returned to the win column with a solid win over Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK. UNK won 37-22. Next Saturday November. 13 is Senior Day as Northeastern State visits Foster Field with kick off at 12pm.

UNK VOLLEYBALL WINS OVER MIAA #1 CENTRAL MISSOURI

The Loper Volleyball team got a decisive win over No.2 Central Missouri in 4 sets behind Emersen Cyza season best 20 Kills. The Loper travel to Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State next weekend.
