Grand Island, Ne – Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Grand Island police and paramedics were called to meat packing plant JBS after a worker was injured on the job.
The injured worker was identified as 48 year old Esteban Matilla.
Matilla was taken to CHI Hospital where he later died.
It was noted Matilla had suffered a head injury from the accident.
