KEARNEY – The Kearney girls basketball team handled business in the second and third quarters to move to 12-8 on the season after downing Lincoln North Star Friday night 51-32 at Kearney High School. Listen to the broadcast replay here.

The Bearcats entered Friday night’s matchup having already downed Lincoln North Star once this season back on Dec. 27 – a 64-34 drubbing of the Navigators in the first round of the HAC Tournament. Kearney was 11-8 entering the night and looked to make their win streak three in a row.
