On Wednesday at 10:30 am Kearney Police reported to an injury accident at Blueprint Engines construction site. Upon arriving officers found Ron Blessing, owner of Blessing Construction in critical condition after being ran over by a bulldozer.
Following the accident the bulldozer continued for a quarter mile, becoming stuck in a ditch along Coal Chute Road.
Blessing was transported by ambulance to CHI Good Samaritan Hospital, where he died of his injuries. The accident is still under investigation by Kearney Police and the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office.
