Troopers arrested two from Pennsylvania after finding over 600 pills and a handgun.
According to a press release, on Tuesday at about 6:30pm, troopers arrested 21 year old Lydia Newton and 22 year old Kayla Knabenshue after a trooper pulled the duo over for traveling at over 100 miles per hour on I-80.
Troopers detected an odor of marijuana in the vehicle, and after a search, discovered over 500 oxycodone, 80 Adderall, and 60 Alprazolam pills. Troopers also found 20 ounces of Codeine, half a pound of marijuana and a handgun.
The two were arrested for possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, among other charges. Newton was also cited for not having a license and speeding.
Both of them are lodged in Hamilton County Jail.
