Ethanol producers are hoping that newly passed tax credits will bring higher blended fuel to pumps.

Biden’s administration said they would ditch restrictions on selling high ethanol blends over the summer, and Nebraska lawmakers recently passed a bill, which provides an incentive for those that sell higher ethanol blends.

Nebraska is the second largest producer of ethanol in the country, right behind Iowa. Randy Gard, member of Nebraska’s Ethanol board says there is nothing standing in ethanol producers way, and there is consumer demand and price pressures today that is driving the want for higher blend fuels.
