RUNZA SENIORS UPSET BID STOPPED SHORT BY STORM:

A valiant start for the Kearney Runza Seniors against the undefeated Hastings Five Point Banks squad at Duncan Field was cut short due to severe weather last night.

Going up early in the first inning, Kearney was able to garner a 3-0 lead heading into the bottom of the third inning when lightning inevitably cut short the contest.

The game will be made-up at a later date and currently stands as a no contest for both sides. The Kearney Runza Seniors return back to Memorial Field for a Friday afternoon doubleheader against Grand Island’s Home Federal and U-Save Pharmacy at 2:30 and 5 PM respectively.
