Kearney police seized 10 pounds of marijuana after a traffic stop on I-80.
On Wednesday July 20, at 7:00 PM, Kearney police conducted a traffic stop on a speeding 2021 Kia Forte near mile post 277 I-80.
Officers observed several indicators of criminal activity and a police service dog was deployed.
A K9 alert led to a vehicle searched that revealed 10.5 pounds of marijuana and small amounts of LSD.
Driver, 52-year-old Benjamin Rodway of Indiana was arrested and lodged in Buffalo County jail on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and other related drug charges.
