A warrant has been issued for a teen in connection to an attempted murder.
The warrant is issued for 17 year-old Yahir Cardenas, who has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, two counts of use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, and several more charges.
Cardenas has been charged as an adult. On may 14, officers were called to a Walmart parking lot after after a reports of shots fired and striking a 17-year-old male. The male was transported to Grand Island regional with non-life threating injuries before officers arrived.
