The U.S. Marshals Metro Fugitive Task Force in Omaha is requesting the public’s help in searching for 25-year-old Romeo Chambers, a homicide suspect in the January 16th shooting death of Jared Shinpaugh.

Chamber is wanted out of Kearney for a homicide and for robbery out of Omaha.

Chambers has no known address.  He is described as 6’2″, 165 lbs, black hair, brown eyes and with a tattoo of the Boston Red Sox ‘B’ logo on his forehead. Chambers might go by the name “Rowdy.”

Chambers should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

There is an reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest.

Anyone with information on Chambers’ whereabouts is encouraged to call Omaha Crimestoppers at 402-444-STOP or the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-877-926-8332. Tips may also be submitted via the USMS Tips App.

The Metro Fugitive Task Force is made up of law enforcement officers from the U.S. Marshals, Omaha Police Department, Lincoln Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Lancaster County Sherriff’s Office, Saunders County Sheriff’s Office, Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Sheriff’s office and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
