The Kearney Police Department participated in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled law enforcement effort that was conducted nationwide from August 19th through September 5th, 2022.
Offices focused on alcohol violations such as DUI’s, Minor in Possession, Open Container, Driving under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, and Minor DUI.
During this enforcement period, KPD made 8 Arrests [DUI-Alcohol (2), DUI-Drugs (1), and Minor in Possession of Alcohol (4)].
Kearney Police Department’s participation in the impaired driving enforcement is funded through a grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety.
