The City of Kearney Public Works Department announced that beginning at 8:30 a.m. today both westbound (northern) lanes of 39th Street will be closed
from R Avenue east to the railroad spur to facilitate concrete repairs.
Traffic will be moved to the southern lane to continue west and eastbound traffic. The roadway will be fully reopened by the end of the day, weather depending.
Citizens are asked to use caution when traveling in the work zone.
