The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred near Ogallala.
According to NSP on Monday afternoon at 1:50pm MT on I-80 near mile marker 124 an eastbound Lincoln driven by Gary Pollack, 64, of Michigan crossed the center line a collided with a westbound Prius driven by John Rosenberg, 77, of Wisconsin.
The passenger of the Prius Anke Boudreau, 74, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Rosenberg and Pollack were transported to the Ogallala Community Hospital, and then to a hospital in Littleton, Colorado for serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. I-80 was closed for both directions of travel for approximately 90 minutes.
NSP was assisted on scene by the Ogallala Fire Department, Keith County Sheriff’s Department, Ogallala Police Department, Regional West Medical, Deuel County Sheriff’s Office, and Nebraska Department of Transportation.
