The City of Kearney Utilities Department in conjunction with Christianson Companies and O’hara Plumbing announces the closure of West 38th Street, from 2nd Avenue to3rd Avenue to through traffic,starting at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers located at 3720 2nd Avenue will be fully accessible throughout construction.
The roadway is planned to be reopened by 5:00p.m. on Wednesday, October 12,weather and construction permitting.
Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and to watch for construction workers and equipment. We recommend that motorists plan ahead to use an alternate route.
