Nebraska State Patrol investigators arrested an Elwood woman for an attempted murder plot on five people.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, investigators were notified last week by the Gosper County Sheriffs Office about a report from a citizen regarding suspicious comments made by the woman.
An undercover NSP investigator contacted the woman, Valerie Miller, 39, of Elwood through an online conversation where Miller agreed to meet in person.
The uncover investigator and Miller met late Monday afternoon in Lexington where she revealed she was seeking to have five specific people killed.
Miller attempted to hire the investigator to carry out the murders.
After the meet up Miller drove away, until troopers performed a felony traffic stop.
Miller was taken into custody without incident and lodged in Dawson County Jail.
Miller is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, five counts of attempted first degree murder, and making terroristic threats.
