A Kearney Police K-9 officer was involved in a two-vehicle crash yesterday in Hall County.
Just after 10 am, KPD Officer Jon Alstrom and his K-9 partner Bane were traveling north on 90th road, to a training day at the Husker Harvest Days campus. A truck failed to stop at a stop sign on Schimmer road in Grand Island and the two vehicles collided.
No one was injured in the accident. The 38 year old driver of the pickup was arrested on an unrelated warrant, and cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
