A Mexican citizen was just sentenced to over 10 years in federal court. Roberto Garcia-Gutierrez, 32, of Mexico was sentenced to 135 months in prison for meth distribution.
Upon serving his time, Gutierrez will be deported by US Immigration authorities.
In May of last year, Gutierrez became involved in a drug conspiracy distributing meth in Omaha. A DEA confidential source arranged to purchase multiple pounds of meth from others involved in the case.
On August 2nd, 2021, Gutierrez was arrested after leaving a home in Omaha. Investigators recovered around 56 pounds of meth and 4 pounds of cocaine.
