A Texas man has been sentenced for threatening to shoot people at a McCook Walmart.
26-year-old Rogelio Salas Jr. of Wescalo Texas was sentenced to just over 2 years in prison on charges of transmitting threats in interstate commerce.
Salas was given the maximum sentence possible due in part to the frequency of threats being sent to the store, and because it was all done over a video game dispute between Salas and a man working at Walmart.
On January 8th, Salas indicated he was outside the Walmart with firearms and explosives and said he was going to enter the store to kill the victim. The store evacuated all employees and customers due to the threats.
