A Chicago man has been sentenced to over 6 years for drug charges.
31-year-old Charlie Rea was sentenced in federal court to 75 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute 400 grams of fentanyl and 500 grams of cocaine.
In January 2020, a Nebraska State Patrol Trooper stopped a van driven by Rea for traffic violations in Buffalo County. Rea admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle.
Upon searching the van, authorities found a secret compartment that contained 5 vacuum-sealed kilo-sized bricks of illicit substances.
