A Kearney man was arrested after making threats against the Lexington Nebraska State Patrol office. Tuesday night Nebraska State Patrol was contacted by Lexington Police regarding a subject with an arrest warrant who had a handgun but their exact location was unknown.
Kerney police department notified the NSP that the same suspect had made threats against the Lexington NSP office.
The suspect was soon identified as 27-year-old Clifton Dedrick.
Dedrick was located in a hotel room just across the street from the Lexington NSP office.
Troopers breached the door to the hotel room and arrested Dedrick without further incident. Dedrick was lodged in Dawson County Jail.
