A Lincoln man has been sentenced to over 7 years in prison for child pornography charges.

Ismael R. Cuevas, of Lincoln, was sentenced to 7 years and 3 months in prison, and 7 years of supervised release. Cuevas was also ordered to pay $3,000 which will contribute to funds for victims of these types of cases.

In October 2020, an NSP investigator used peer-to-peer software to connect to an IP address, later identified to be Cuevas, and download four files containing child pornography. In January 2021, a search warrant was executed on Cuevas’s residence, and investigators with finding more than 10,000 images of child pornography.
