The Nebraska Public Power District will be hosting its 2nd Open house for the Kearney Power Project on Today Nov. 17 at 2 pm at the Younes Conference Center South.
The open house will primarily discuss the Kearney Power Project, where NPPD plans to build a 6-9 mile 115 kilovolt transmission line between two substations.
The public is invited to provide input and learn more about the project.
Those unable to attend in person can visit kearneypower.nppd.com for a self-paced virtual public meeting.
The open house will run from 2 p.m. to 7 p.mm, at the Younes Conference Center South, in Diamond rooms 9 & 10.
