A Texas teen charged with the murder of his mother will stay in Nebraska for the rest of the year. Tyler Roenz, 18, who had his extradition hearing moved, is facing a fugitive from justice charge in Nebraska. Roenz also faces charges of murder, sexual assault, and unauthorized use of a vehicle in Texas.
During the hearing Wednesday, the state asked the judge for an extension as the state had not obtained a governor’s warrant from the Texas governor.
The extradition hearing was then rescheduled to January 3rd.
