OMAHA – The Kearney Girls Basketball team took care of business in Omaha Friday night, dominating Omaha Buena Vista to earn their third win on the season.
The Bearcats controlled the contest from the beginning, opening the contest with all regular starters on the floor as they led 28-3 at the end of the first quarter. After adding another 19 points in the second quarter, several reserve and rotation players saw significant action with a running clock applied for an early exit contest.

Kearney ended with 14 different scorers: Tatum Rusher led with 11 points, Kiara Dutenhoffer ended with 8 points, Harley Straka had 6 points, an unrostered #1 had 5 points, six players had 4 points each (Kennidy Garner, Josie Murray, Kelsey Hatcher, Maddy Province, Addie Helmbrecht, and Ava Sheldon), Paige Mailahn had 3, an unrostered #4 had 2, and Avery Franzen had 1.
