The Nebraska State Patrol has arrested another individual for their involvement in the August 4, quadruple homicide in Laurel.
On Friday troopers arrested Carrie Jones, 43, the wife of homicide suspect Jason Jones. She was lodged in Antelope County Jail for first degree homicide, tampering with physical evidence, and accessory to a felony.
According to NSP, Jones was arrested after new information was discovered on her involvement in the murders.
On August 4, 2022, Gene Twiford, 86, along with his wife Janet, 85, and their daughter Dana, 55, were all murdered in their home in Laurel. Their neighbor Michele Ebling, 53, was also murdered, and believed to have killed in her home. Both homes were set alight following their murders.
The case is ongoing.
