Howard County Sheriff’s Office seized several animals after reports of illegal gambling and animal fighting.
According to the Howard County Sheriff’s Office, they received a call Saturday about illegal gambling involving roosters in rural Howard County.
A deputy responded to the scene that afternoon with a Nebraska Game and Parks officer.
After observing and interviewing, a search warrant was obtained.
Later that evening was conducted. Authorities arrested 10 individuals and several animals were seized.
