The City of Kearney Sanitation Division announced the following changes in refuse collection due to winter weather conditions today.
- Residential trash collection scheduled for Thursday, December 22 will be collected on Friday, December 23. Residential trash scheduled for Friday, December 23 will remain on schedule.
- Residential recycling normally collected on the 4th Thursday will be collected Thursday, December 29. Recycling scheduled for Friday, December 23 will remain on schedule.
- Commercial businesses that normally have trash collection service on Thursday will be collected on Friday, December 23. Please remove the snow and ice from around the trash containers to help ensure proper collection.
- The Kearney Area Recycling Center & Solid Waste Agency Landfill will be closed. The Solid Waste Agency Landfill will reopen on Friday, December 23.
