Grand Island Police arrested an Arizona man who kidnapped a 13-year-old boy from Utah.

According to Grand Island Police, at approximately 1:56 am Wednesday morning police were notified of suspicious activity by a concerned citizen at a Git n’ Split in Grand Island.

Upon arrival police made contact with suspect and the 13-year-old boy, who were sitting inside a parked vehicle outside the gas station.

It was discovered the boy and vehicle had been listed in a Utah Amber Alert.

Officers ordered the suspect to exit the vehicle, but they resisted arrest. Police were eventually able to cuff the suspect.

The suspect, Tadashi Kojima, 26, was arrested for kidnapping, resisting arrest and lodged in Hall County Corrections. Kojima also went by the alias of Aaron Zeman.
