Nebraska’s minimum wage is set to increase coming January 1st.
The state’s minimum wage will increase yearly until hitting 15 dollars per hour in 2026. Those at the state’s current minimum wage of 9 dollars per hour will see a pay raise of $1.50 Sunday, and an additional $1.50 every year following.
The wage increase comes after voters passed voter initiative 433 in November.
