The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a suspected murder-suicide in David City. On December 31st, Butler County Sheriff’s office was called to a home in David City to conduct a welfare check.
Upon entering the home, officers found two adults deceased, 29-year-old Dagmara Dorta Diaz and 34-year-old Alfonso Palmero.
NSP was asked to conduct the investigation.
Investigators believe Palmero shot Diaz before shooting himself. Diaz had a protection order against Palmero.
The investigation is still ongoing.
