Nebraska State Patrol Troopers made 35 DUI arrests and assisted over 1000 motorists during the holidays, as part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
In addition to 35 arrests for driving under the influence, troopers issued hundreds of citations for seat belt violations, open alcohol containers, driving under suspension and other infractions during the campaign, which ran from December 16th to January 1st.
Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol Colonel John Bolduc says he hopes that with the new year, Nebraskans will make safe driving a resolution for 2023.
