An Omaha man was sentenced to 10 years in prison and was forced to forfeit $400,000, his home, and his truck for conspiracy to distribute drugs.
28-year-old Thomas Trouba was sentenced in federal court for conspiracy to distribute marijuana, and THC products. Trouba, on top of the 10 years in prison, was ordered to forfeit his residence, pickup, and $400,000 as drug trafficking proceeds.
In September 2020, Trouba was observed by investigators with a woman loading totes into his truck. After pulling over and searching the vehicle, investigators found thousands in cash and multiple pounds of marijuana products.
Investigators then searched Trouba’s home, finding multiple types of narcotics, and even more cash.
