Grand Island Public School Board announced they’ve selected Mr. Mathew Fisher as it’s Interim Superintendent.
The announcement came Thursday after the board reconvened and voted to approve the contract for Fisher.
His first day as Interim Superintendent of the district will begin Wednesday, February 1st.
Fisher will be under a two-term 17 month contract, where for the first five months Fisher will be compensated a gross salary of $100,000 and the last 12 months $275,000
