The Kiwanis’s Club’s of Kearney are holding their Annual Pancake Feed this Saturday.

Since the 1940’s, Kiwanis has been hosting their pancake feed that has raised proceeds utilized for community service projects around the area.

The biggest change has been the expansion of Kiwanis, from one club into three which are now known as Golden K, Dobytown, and the Noon Kiwanis Club.

All clubs share profits from the pancake feed, that have gone to notable community service projects like the Backpack Program, Coats for Kids, and promoting dental health among elementary students.  Additionally, all three Kiwanis clubs offer a variety of scholarship for students.

The pancake feed will feature pancakes made from Copper Mills batter, with a Perkins sausage patty, and a choice of drink.

Tickets can be bought beforehand at ABC Drug Pharmacy in Kearney or from any Kiwanian for $7, or at the door the day of the pancake feed for $8.

Preschoolers are free of cost, and K-5 are half off.

The pancake feed will be held at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
