The American Red Cross is holding a Chili Cook-off this weekend at Grand Island.
Join the Red Cross this Saturday, February,11 at the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center at Fonner Park for a variety of samples of delicious chili from local chefs.
Proceeds from the cook-off will go towards the Central and Western Nebraska Chapter of the American Red Cross. The Central chapter serves 64 counties and provides assistance through five lines of service: disaster, biomedical, certification & training, Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) and international.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote on their favorite chili.
The cook-off will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Tickets for adults are $10, kids age 4-12 are half off, and kids age three and under are free.

The chili cook-off is presented by Active Family Chiropractic & Acupuncture and hosted by the Board of Directors serving Central and Western Nebraska.
