Grand Island Police detained a man who barricaded himself inside a church with knives Thursday morning.
On Thursday Grand Island Police responded to a report about a break-in at 9 a.m. at St. Stephen Episcopal Church.
A man had broken in and barricaded himself with knives inside the church.
After about an hour, police were able to detain the man.
