Kearney Police Department is investigating four burglaries that impacted four Kearney businesses.
On Tuesday KPD received reports of burglary from four different Kearney businesses. A preliminary investigation indicated the burglaries took place overnight Monday February 27 into the early hours of Tuesday February 28.
The affected businesses include Papa Johns, Jersey’s Sports Bar and Grill, Upper Room Brewery, and Simply Blessed.
Police have arrested a suspect connected to two of the burglaries.
The suspect has been identified as John Forrest, 55, of Kearney.
Kearney Police and investigators are continuing to search for evidence in each case.
