The City of Kearney Public Works Department on behalf of the Union Pacific Railroad announce that track maintenance work will take place at the Central Avenue Railroad Crossing on March 8, 2023 beginning at approximately 12:00 p.m. (noon). The railroad crossing will be closed during maintenance activities. The crossing is expected to re-open by 5:00 p.m. the same day.
Citizens will need to use an alternate route during the closure
