A Grand Island Walgreens was evacuated Friday after a woman claimed a man with a gun was in the store threatening to kill her.
According to GIPD, on Friday Samantha Schultz 28, entered a Walgreens on Webb Rd where she told cashiers that a man with a gun was in the store and threatened to kill her.
Employees escorted Shultz’s to a break room where she locked herself in and allegedly began destroying property.
The store was evacuated due to Shultz’s claims, including four Walgreens employees.
After thorough investigation, police found Schultz’s claims to be false.
Shultz admitted being under the influence of drugs while at the store.
Samantha was placed under arrest for terroristic threats, false reporting, criminal mischief and unlawful acts relating to drugs.
