The Kearney High School Science Olympiad team had a strong first competition on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, when they placed 1st at ESU 10’s Regional Science Olympiad Invitational. The KHS Science Olympiad team consisted of nine students who competed as teams of two in 10 of the 14 offered STEM events.

“The KHS SciOly Team and their advisor would like to thank the KPS Administration team for their support,” said Advisory Alison Klein. “Special thanks to Jeff Ganz, Clint Edwards, and Amber Lewis, ESU 10 for hosting this event and KPS for their participation in the High Ability Learner (HAL) Consortium.

KHS Students who participated are seniors Braedon Parker, Brandon Blake, Ethan Sundberg, Winston Chu, Carter Cochran and juniors Jame Padgett, Noah Burbul, Oscar Hanson, and Adan Ciprian. Their advisor is Alison Klein.
